Three former staff of The Guardian Newspapers have expressed their gratitude to the immediate past Managing Director of the company, Mr Emeka Izeze for his support during their employment in the publication.
The former staff, among many others who responded to Izeze’s new Facebook profile picture on Tuesday, August 30 are former former National Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Gbolahan Gbadamosi, Editor-in-Chief of Businessworld Newspapers, Nik Ogbulie and Chief Executive Officer, Banking Magazine, Emeka Ogbeide.
Gbadamosi who was Head of Judiciary Desk at The Guardian in his post wrote ” My MD. Let me make this open appreciation to you for the first time. You took an administrative step in 2001 that facilitated my admission to Nigerian Law School despite the odds. Am grateful, Pastor Izeze. God will continue to enlarge your coast.”
” My main man, Eluem Emeka Izeze. The man who discovered me. Long Live Oga.I will be presenting my book, INSIDE NIGERIAN BANKS September29th the NIIA,” Ogbuile stated.
Ogbeide said Izeze was “The man that horned my editorial skills……God bless you”
Izeze recently resigned his appointment after 17 years as Managing Director of the company. He was former Editor of The Guardian
