Veteran journalist, Ad’Obe Obe, better  known as ‘Obe’ by friends and close associates has launched a book to commemorate his 70th birthday.

Obe who has worked in many newsrooms in Nigeria before leaving for Germany in the 1970’s, launched the book titled, ‘Yunhouse’ via the internet to mark birthday.

In the new book, he defined the colonialism of Africa continent as a ‘destiny-altering experience’.

In his career as journalist and writer, Obe played major roles in newspapers like The Guardian, The Observer as well as BBC, VOA and Deutschewelle.

He was also an executive officer in the British civil service and lived most of his life in London for more than three decades.

Obe who once taught Mathematics in Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania and The Gambia, aside studying chemical engineering in Germany, also studied philosophy and worked in Britain.
