LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND STRATEGY Invites application from suitable qualified candidates for the following vacant positions in Lagos Television (LTV)
The vacant positions published in an advert in The Punch Newspaper of August 29 are as follows:
1) Director of Production Services
A degree in mass communication/communication arts/journalism. Candidates must be versed in digital designs, graphic art with already 15years cognate experience in television production, five of which must be at management level.
2) News correspondent/reporters; candidate must possess a degree in mass communication or journalism, higher national diploma in journalism with over seven years in practice.
3) News editors/news video editors.
Candidates must possess a degree in mass communication/journalism with a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience in television news editing/video editing/directing and production.
4) ENG camera operators
Candidates must possess a degree and certification in electronic news gathering (ENG). Candidates must have Eye for aesthetics, graphic visual sequence and ability to identify news. He/she must have a good mastery of the use of ENG/camera.
Candidates must be able to work as correspondent in different beats. In addition to the above criteria, all candidates must possess strong work ethics, desire to work in a result driven environment and must have completed the compulsory National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) certificate.
